You should enjoy warm weather. It’s what North Carolina is known for and why most of us live here. Don’t let bugs crash the party. Pest Elimination Services & Technologies LLC is pleased to offer mosquito treatment and other outdoor pest control services to the Hickory area.
We consider it our mission to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service. We deliver the best possible results with a minimal impact on the environment while educating our customers and offering them the safe and enjoyable outdoor experiences they deserve.
Working with us is a breeze. We don’t use contracts. We can either work on a continuous 21-day schedule or for just one treatment if that’s what you prefer. One-time treatment is especially helpful for special events such as weddings or picnics where you don’t want guests to get bug bites. Payment is accepted via check or credit card.
After a treatment is done, we ask that you check your results for yourself. Some areas are more overrun than others, so it’s always good to monitor the situation. We can schedule a follow-up if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it really does. Mosquito treatment is relatively new to the market, so we’re accustomed to customers being skeptical. Seeing is believing. Just one treatment is enough to make a difference on your property. We recommend giving our treatment a try. In as little as half an hour, you can see improvements.
Our pest control products are 100% safe and legal. We’re licensed in the state of North Carolina, and all our ingredients have been reviewed and approved by the appropriate authorities. We’re well-versed in all the laws and regulations in our industry, so you have nothing to fear.
Usually, mosquito season begins in early April and concludes in late October. However, because we are dealing with Mother Nature, those dates can vary quite a bit. This means the best practice for ensuring uninterrupted mosquito protection is to sign up early and begin treatment ahead of time. Don’t wait until you see mosquitoes to sign up.
An added convenience of working with us is we are self-sufficient. You don’t have to be home for us to treat your property. Once we have the address, we can use that to get an overview of the lot. From there, we can estimate the amount of vegetation and how much treatment product we’ll need. Depending on the property, we can quote you in as fast as 10 minutes.
There’s a possibility of some overlap, but there’s no guarantee as to the extent or potency of the coverage. Our mosquito treatment essentially forms a bubble over the property, so protection is consistent for your property alone. It is even more crucial to have your own separate fire ant control because our product is granular and, therefore, less transient than a spray.
The treatment does not kill bugs instantaneously. They won’t drop out of the sky the second the spray hits them, but the treatment does eventually kill them. Our clients typically notice major results within 24-48 hours and sometimes within 30 minutes. So while the treatment is not quite lightning fast, chances are, you won’t see the bugs again.
To maximize effectiveness, get rid of standing water you’re not using, such as a five-gallon bucket or birdbath. Drain cesspools if you have them. Fountains aren’t a problem if they have moving water. During treatment, if you have a birdbath on the property, we may ask permission to dump it out to preserve your results.
Washout is more of a risk in cases where a torrential downpour takes place immediately after treatment. Those instances won’t completely wipe it out a treatment, but it could weaken results. In situations such as those, we can come back and reapply. We’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Our treatment products are regulated and have been deemed safe to use with pets and animals. That said, we prefer not to treat if there is a dog in the immediate vicinity. We may ask you to bring your dog inside or schedule another time to come out.
Pest control requires chemical knowledge to a precise level. We are licensed in the field, which means we are skilled and educated in all of the right precautions and held to the highest standards in the industry. We come prepared in personal protective equipment, such as long sleeves, long pants, boots, and latex gloves. It can get very hot underneath all of that, but we take the heat so you don’t have to.
